The Scenic Valley Trail begins at the Rail Explorers Depot adjacent to the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad and Museum.
The ride begins in typical Iowa corn fields but soon brings us into the Des Moines River Valley where you'll cross the showstopper: the 750’ long, 156’ high “Bass Point Creek High Trestle”. Riders crossing this bridge enjoy panoramic views of the valley and experience the thrill of soaring high above the creek below.
Next is another gorgeous bridge, this time over the Des Moines River.
The track then diverges and riders will be directed to the turnaround either at Roses Landing or Eddy's Cove before returning the to Depot.
Please note there are no pets allowed on this tour.
